What to Post

- Technical insights: Architecture decisions, tool comparisons, code learnings
- Honest asks: Looking for a co-founder, seeking feedback, hiring
- Community wins: Funding announcements, first customers, team growth
- Resources: Guides, templates, frameworks you’ve created or found valuable
- Events: Hackathons, meetups, workshops you’re hosting or attending
What Not to Post
- Spam or self-promotion without value — “Check out my app!” without context
- Engagement farming — “Like if you agree!”, “Comment your favorite emoji!”
- Copied or AI-generated content without attribution or personal insight
- Misleading claims — Fake traction numbers, inflated credentials
- Harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks
- Crypto/NFT promotions, MLM schemes
- Political or religious content unrelated to the startup ecosystem
Verification
Zolra verifies members at multiple levels:
- Email verified — Basic (all members)
- LinkedIn connected — Enhanced trust signal
- DPIIT recognised startup — For founders with registered startups
- Admin verified — For investors, mentors, and companies (manual review)
Reporting
If you see content that violates these guidelines:
- Click the three-dot menu on any post
- Select “Report”
- Choose a reason (spam, harassment, misinformation, etc.)
- Our team reviews reports within 24 hours
Consequences
- First violation: Content removed + warning
- Second violation: 7-day posting restriction
- Third violation: Account suspension pending review
- Severe violations: (harassment, scams) Immediate ban
Best Practices for Engagement
- Share specific, actionable insights (not vague motivational quotes)
- Respond to comments on your posts — conversation builds network
- Tag relevant people when sharing their work
- Use the feed to build relationships, not just broadcast
