Getting Set Up

As an investor on Zolra, Home is your deal flow workspace. Here’s how to set it up for maximum efficiency.

Step 1: Complete Your Investor Profile

  • Fund name (or “Independent Angel”)
  • Stage preference — Pre-seed, Seed, Series A, or multiple
  • Sector focus — Select up to 5 sectors (SaaS, Fintech, Edtech, Healthcare, D2C, etc.)
  • Ticket size range — e.g., ₹10L – ₹50L
  • Bio — Your investment thesis in 2–3 sentences

This information feeds directly into Zolra Intelligence’s investor-startup matching algorithm.

Step 2: Discover Founders

Navigate to Investors → Discover. You’ll see founders ranked by Zolra Intelligence fit score. Use filters:

  • Stage: Idea, MVP, Early Traction, Growth
  • Sector: Filter to your thesis sectors
  • Location: City or remote
  • Score threshold: Only show 70+ matches

Step 3: Review Match Breakdowns

Click any founder to see the Zolra Intelligence score breakdown:

  • Thesis fit — Does their sector/stage match your investment criteria?
  • Team strength — Profile completeness, skills, past experience
  • Traction signals — Revenue, users, growth from their startup profile
  • Raise readiness — Are they actively raising? Is their pitch deck ready?

Step 4: Request Warm Intros

Pro investors can request warm intros. Zolra identifies mutual connections between you and the founder, making introductions natural and high-trust.

Step 5: Track Your Pipeline

Save founders to your pipeline with stages:

  • Interested — Saved for later review
  • In Conversation — Active discussions
  • Due Diligence — Deep dive in progress
  • Offered — Term sheet sent
  • Invested — Deal closed
  • Passed — Not a fit (with optional reason)

Pro Tips

  • Set up saved searches with your filters — Zolra Intelligence will notify you when new matches appear
  • Check your dashboard weekly — new founders join Zolra daily
  • Engage on the community feed — founders notice active investors
